Need to, Want to, Should do.. (Thanks Cathy!)

I need to do school work. I've been out for Winter Break this week and I have put everything school related off.

I want to take a bubble bath, crawl up on the couch, eat vegetable soup and watch mindless television for the rest of the day.

I should upload pictures from the past week, burn cds, get prints, and update my blog.

One year later...

Some days it feels like just last week. Other days it feels like a lifetime ago.

Some days it feels like a brick smacked me in the face. Other days it feels like it's just a part of reality.

Some days it feels like it's just a part of everyone's life. Other days it feels like I'm the only person on the planet that's lost a parent.

Some days I don't even realize it happened. Other days I think about it every minute.

Today I remember every detail. Today is much harder than I thought it was going to be. Today, the weather is exactly the same as it was one year ago. Today, it is real.

"And you now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you" (John 16:22)

"Super" Tuesday....

I'm at home today, sick with a NASTY cold. At least I'm hoping that's what it is, and it doesn't get worse. I blow and blow end up with a clean tissue and an exploding head. Nice...

I have a busy rest-of-the-week, so I'm not giving much down time to this cold of mine. I decided to stay home today and rest myself into health. Then...come this evening time is up! I'm going to vote and cook dinner and get ready for tomorrow. Heather helped me find the perfect suit for Teacher Recruitment Day tomorrow! After a long Sunday (it's bad when a pregnant, tired girl out shops you!) we finally found what I needed. Now...if only my head would clear so my thoughts can come out right!


So far, I've been proud of myself for not doing school work today, not washing clothes, not cleaning the house. Just Rest! I also tried putting "don't respond to being tagged" on that list, but I figured no one would buy it! ;)
