Nice move...I must say.

Well played McCain....

I have always called myself a Democrat, and really hoped Sen. Clinton would be our next leader. When it comes to politics in general, I assume that ignorance is bliss and continue with my back woods life. I have realized lately that I am letting one or two very personal, very strong moral beliefs decide my political party.

I am more invested in this presidential election than ever before. I want to try to educate myself as much as possible and not judge. Deep down I feel like they are all a bunch of crooks, but I want to learn as much as I can to make my vote count for me.

Today's news was the first that made my eye brow raise, and made me think harder about our future Commander in Chief.

If anyone has any good (legit) links to info...send them my way!!

There is an interesting discussion on my adoption forum about it all right now.

well jessica i am so very impressed with your desire to educate yourself and make your vote count. as you know i am in a very political position and i have the opportunity to meet our local representatives often, i have met saxby chabliss and i have received a number of federal grants for our city from him, i have set up a meeting with ronnie chance and billy maddox for sept 19 to discuss important issues for our small rural community. all of these gentlemen are republican. i honestly beleve that these local reps can are more vial to us then the chief --- and i beleve the chief will only be as good as his staff and their loyalty. mccain appears to be oneof the most outspoken men i have heard speak from his heart and of course i love the idea of a real woman to assist in the decision making. another thought that i just cant get over is that i really do not believe that i am racist however i also never heard of the word terrorist in my lifetime until obama bin laden and i cannot find it in my heart to ever vote for anyone name obama-- it actually is very frightening to me i am impressed with joe biden but not enough.

I appreciate your encouragement! And I'm glad you finally figured out how to post a comment on my blog!

However...the terrorist you are referring to is Osama Bin Laden, not Obama. Something as simple as a name resemblance should not push our votes, in my opinion.

I am glad to see your interest in the election. Please, please read more about Obama and his political views. I think you will be surprised how much you like what you read.
